Capital Health Partnership

improving access for small business

Capital Health Plan has partnered with the Capital Area Health Access Foundation (d/b/a Capital Health Partnership) to provide Tallahassee area, uninsured small business with improved access to comprehensive HMO coverage.

Through the Capital Health Partnership, qualified, uninsured small businesses and their eligible employees receive a 40% premium subsidy for their first two years of health plan coverage. The employer and employee pay the rest.

In order to apply, a company must be based in the Tallahassee area (Leon, Calhoun, Gadsden, Jefferson, Liberty or Wakulla County), have been in business at least 12 months, have less than 25 employees, pay average wages of $12 or less per hour, and not have offered health insurance or HMO coverage for at least the past 12 months.

The Capital Health Partnership premium assistance is administered through the Capital Area Health Access Foundation, a non-profit organization created by Capital Health Plan.
